First of all: the Kartoffelhaus is not a posh fancy shop and that's a good thing. Anyone looking for something like this is definitely wrong here. But if you are looking for a cozy, clean restaurant with friendly, courteous staff and very tasty food, you will feel at home here. We have been there several times and have never had any reason to complain. Everything fine. Lovingly arranged and good quality. All of this at very affordable prices. Nevertheless, we have two points of criticism: The portions are very large. We could have done it 20 years ago, but you get older. ;) The second point is the very unfavorable presentation of the salad buffet. The salads are great, but the presentation could be improved. But these are little things that you can certainly get over.

I absolutely love going there. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the service is on top and the food is great too. My most favorite thing is the salad bar though. I will recommend this place to friends and go there again.

The kitchen is excellent, great offers and the price is pleasant. Very recommendable.

First of all: You have to reserve, because it is hardly possible to stop there spontaneously. Great rustic ambience, attractive menu. Unfortunately there are ugly and dirty wax tablecloths on the tables that are not very inviting. Food really tasty and reasonable effort in time. Great value for money. The lady in the waitress really has an eye on the store! Gladly again

It just tastes bad. Sorry but unfortunately cannot give a good rating. French fries in old oil. The sauces with an aftertaste. Everything too seasoned. The burger rolls dry. Hope it gets better.

Schniposa as it should be. Greetings from the kitchen. (Small soup) Everything fresh and delicious. Very nice hosts. Always with a funny saying on the lips ... that lifts the mood. We are happy to come back with our friends.

Power breakfast is highly recommended. Large selection, in small portions. So you can take something from many different things. Unfortunately not everything was photographed, there was a lot going on ...... like last time. The buffet is much larger than seen in the photo. The boss and staff are very friendly. We will always come back.

It is a pretty small place a little bit randomly decorated. We reserved a table for 3 on a Friday night, but it was not at all full. Children's menu had the typical children's food on it. The offer a lot of potato dishes, as it is called the house of potatoes. I ordered a salad. I thought it was a little more expensive than I would have expected. I really did not like the dressing. All in all, it was an ok experience.

A very nice atmosphere, you could not believe that you entered a boring concrete building. It goes up over several stairs. In summer, a terrace offers outdoor space. The staff is very down to earth, open-minded and very nice. We were there between the years and therefore there was only a "small" menu, but everyone found something tasty for his taste buds. The menu was very creative with some surprises. The salad bar was plentiful and varied. I had ordered schnitzel and soon you could hear the cook knocking on the schnitzel. The food was plentiful and tasty. We will definitely go again and test the "normal" card. The main focus in the potato house, as the name suggests, is on dishes related to the potato.

The ambience in the outdoor area looks a bit careless and neglected during the day, which may seem different in the evening. The menu makes a very unprofessional impression and hardly stimulates the taste. The food was so overly salted that a dish had to go back completely. The salad bar is backlit with a very disadvantageous LED light. This makes the salads less appetizing. Ultimately, the sun was shining and the beer was good - 1 point for that.
